Al Mulla Exchange clinches the KCC T20 Challengers Cup powered by Al Muzaini Exchange.

The finals of KCC T20 Challengers Cup 2024 powered by Al Muzaini Exchange was organised on 8th March 2024 at Sulaibiya Cricket Ground between Al Mulla Exchange and GAT.

KCC T20 Challengers Cup 2024 powered by Al Muzaini Exchange had 24 teams competing and were divided into four groups, the tournament had a total of 66 exciting T20 matches. In a nail bitter finals GAT batted first and were bowled out for 113 runs in 18.2 overs . Some exceptional bowling performances by Al Mulla bowlers. Shinu John and Vishukant Tyagi were top wicket takers with 3 wickets each. Linto and Prasath shared two wickets each. While the Top order of GAT fell very cheaply, the only resistance came from Lokesh Shrikani with 28 runs supported by nithin Samuel with 19 runs. In the chase, same scenario continued as Al Mulla top order also collapsed. The match winning innings was provided by Santosh in the middle order with unbeaten 38 runs which helped Al Mulla to reach the target in 18.5 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. For GAT Nithin Samuel ended up with 2 wickets and all other 5 bowlers that were used picked 1 wicket each. Shinu John's stellar all-round performance rightfully earned him the Player of the Finals award, acknowledging his significant contributions to Al Mulla Exchange's triumph.

In the post match presentation ceremony the winners, runners up and top individual performers of the tournament were recognized with trophies and handsome cash awards by KCC.

Individual Award winners:

Hamees Shareef from CECC-B for his 12 wickets was declared as BEST BOWLER

Lakwinder Singh from SBS CC for his 241 runs was declared as Best Batsman

Khalid Butt, the evergreen legend of Kuwait Cricket from MG Warriors for his 165 runs and 11 wickets was declared as the Best All Rounder.

The presentation ceremony was graced by senior KCC Officials Mr. Robert, Mr. Tahir, Mr. Jude & Mr. Muizz as well as Al Muzaini representatives Mr. Trevin and Mr. Guru respectively.
